The team was born in 1998. With Rallyraid settled in Italy, an Argentinian driver wanted to rent a 4x4 vehicle in one round of the FIA World Cross-Country Cup. The result of that debut was good enough to get the necessary investment and create a proper raid team with better resources. It was one year later that the team started using its current name.

With a hard, non-stop work made in only five months, the team was able to get everything in time for the 2000 Rally Paris-Dakar-El Cairo, a challenge that seemed tough, but that ended in good form, with three out of four of the team’s vehicles reaching the finish in Egypt, on an event in which the arrival average is not higher to a mere 30%.

After that, several podium finishes in the overall classifications of some rounds were on the list with the Luis Pérez Companc-Jorge Pérez Companc duo.

Rallyraid left doors opened later to rent 4x4 vehicles including assistance and logistics, with more experience from the early days and the knowledge of other rallies such as the Pharaons in Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, Por Las Pampas in Argentina or the UAE Desert Challenge.
